Peering silently through the rows; The pastor praying then arose. Soon the choir followed after; There was no joy nor was there laughter. Upon the front someone slept; Though it seems they were well kept. They did not move or even shift; Robbed from him a precious gift. I step through all the saddened faces; Walking up they keep their places. They paid no mind as I peered in; A surprise at who did lay within.
